Some common irregularities in concrete surfaces occur during construction, or by wearing down over time. Concrete grinding is the procedure in which heavy grinding machinery is used on an uneven surface in an attempt to flatten the surface. 

There are two steps that are used in concrete grinding and polishing: Firstly, using diamonds to correct any imperfections and restores the smoothness. Once flat, polishing can be done upon the surface to give the surface a glossy, long-lasting and easy to clean surface.
